In the previous session of this three-part Bible study, we learned how the community of Israel created and sang Psalms to express their emotions and hopes in response to profoundly stressful and painful events. The focus was on the primary emotion … Anger. In this session, participants will explore another one of the primary emotions, specifically Grief, through biblical poetry. Confirmands (6th—9th grade) meet from 5:00 pm — 6:00 pm. After they meet together with Pastor Brian to study God’s word and how it applies to their everyday life, a light meal is provided.
Find out more »Joy Kids’ Club
Joy Kids’ Club meets Tuesdays from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm during the school year. This event is geared for children potty-trained through 5th grade. We gather for opening songs and enjoy a Bible story and appropriate craft. Dinner is provided for all. A $3 donation is suggested to help offset the cost of the meal and craft. After the crafts, kids have game time and close with prayer.
