The Men’s Breakfast Group (8:00 am third Saturday of each month)
Are you looking for a good breakfast, fellowship, or a message from the Bible? Well, you can obtain all three at one meeting. If your appetite has been whetted, you are invited to attend the Men’s Breakfast Group which meets at J & M Family Restaurant 1275 S. State St., Hemet (corner of State & Stetson).
Breakfast begins promptly at 8:00 am and as soon as the coffee is poured, fellowship ensues. After placing your breakfast order, we enjoy a time of devotion and prayer. Men’s Group meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Don’t forget to mark that date now! All men in the congregation and their guests are welcome to attend.
Women of Faith Bible Study (2nd Thursday of each month)
The Women of Faith Bible Study meets at 10:00 am in Jessi’s Joy Kids’ Center at Spirit of Joy. We use the GATHER Magazine, along with the Bible, to explore various topics. If you do not have a copy of the GATHER Magazine, don’t let that stop you. One will be provided for your learning pleasure. This study is led by Pastor Marda-Ruth Roberts and is open to all women.
Lectionary-Based Bible Study (9:00 am Sunday mornings)
Based on the lectionary readings for the day, this Bible study provides an in-depth look at the scripture used on each particular Sunday. This study gives a broad range view of the circumstances and issues during the time it was written.
This Bible study helps to unravel the mystery of the scriptures and helps to apply the teachings in everyday life. This Sunday morning adult Bible study is open to all.
Crafty Scrappers (1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month)
Whether you are a novice or an advanced scrapper or crafter, this group is for you. If you knit, crochet or do needlepoint, you are invited to join us. This gathering will provide a dedicated time for focusing on your latest project and there will be ample time to visit and enjoy each other’s company. Be sure to bring your lunch and favorite beverage.
Can’t stay the whole time? No problem! Just show up when you can and leave at your convenience. Bring your pictures, paper, stickers, yarn, needles, and tools and join us for relaxing and creative afternoon.
