Following worship, there will be a short break where we
invite you to enjoy a light snack and ready yourself for
this vital meeting. This is a time when the important
business of our church is conducted, including the
adoption of our congregational covenant for 2020 and
the election of new council members. Please take a few
moments to read the résumés of this year’s nominees
included in this edition of the Vine. Three individuals will
need to be elected.
The printed Annual Report
will be available for pick
up beginning January 16
along with your year-end
financial statement. This
report will include the 2020
proposed budget. Please
take me to look it over.
All formal groups of Spirit of Joy are encouraged to
submit a short article about the group, when you meet,
your purpose, and your accomplishments. The reports
need to be submitted to the office no later than
Sunday, January 5 to be included in the annual report.
