Spirit of Joy Community Church is a faith community that has been gathering since 1996. We are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It is our vision to become a Christian hub of our community by ministering to the needs of the whole person.
We seek to grow in our relationship with God and to share that experience with others. We believe that all are children of God and, regardless of where you are on your journey, as a child of God, YOU are welcome at Spirit of Joy.
Traditional with Praise Sunday Worship (10:00 am Sunday)
This is as close to traditional as we get at Spirit of Joy! Together we enjoy familiar hymns, a splash of liturgy, and the flow of traditional worship. Our praise team lifts our spirits with joyous music, as we celebrate the goodness that is God.
Mixed with our friendly, informal style – it’s easy to feel the Lord’s presence amidst the welcoming environment of fellow believers. A relevant and heart-felt message from God’s Word will start your week off right.
Early in the service, our pastor welcomes children forward for a “Joy Kids’ Message” – an appropriate message or story just for the little ones. Following “Joy Kids’ Time”, the children are invited to Joy Kids’ Church in the adjoining room.
